Charlie's story

On December 7, 2017, nineteen dogs were seized by Animal Welfare. Charlie, his sister, and six other dogs were brought to Houlton Humane Society. Our spotlight on our furry friends in need of loving Home

Chancy

Fancy Chancy is a 12 yo Egyptian Mau mix who came to us very ill. We discovered that Chancy has thyroid issues and is on medication for it and has been doing fantastic ever since.

Chancy is magnificent and he knows it as he is very vocal about it. He needs to be an only cat household. He is part of our Senior To Senior Program(but anyone can adopt him!), he was in a foster home and unfortunately returned because he talks too much. The only way he will stop meowing is if he is being held. He is as soft as velvet and wants nothing more then to be held and purr in your arms 24/7. He could seriously be one of those cats in a baby carrier and worn around the house. He would be in his glory. If you have the patience, are a good listener and can be diligent about his medication(2x a day!), then this ridiculously handsome guy may be the right fit for you! Please fill out an application or give us a call today!
