Raise the Woof Project
It all started when…
The Houlton Humane Society is thrilled to unveil an exciting new project aimed at enhancing the well-being of our canine friends. Today, we are introducing our initiative to raise funds for the construction of an indoor exercise area dedicated to our dog population.
At the shelter, we understand the importance of regular exercise and time out of the kennel for our furry pals. However, unpredictable weather conditions and staffing often hinder our ability to provide them with the out-of-kennel activities they crave. That’s why we’re embarking on this endeavor to create a safe and stimulating environment where dogs can play, run, and socialize daily, regardless of the weather.
Our vision for this project is not just building a structure; it’s about creating a haven where the dogs in our care can thrive both physically and mentally. The indoor exercise area will provide several areas to accommodate all sizes and energy levels.
But we need your help to bring this vision to life. We invite all dog lovers, community members, and businesses to join us in this project by contributing to our fundraising efforts. Your generous donations will directly impact the well-being and happiness of countless furry friends, providing them with the opportunity to stay active and engaged throughout their stay.
Thank you for your support.
